Alpine Wildflowers with Barbed Wire (2004)

This original knotwork design painting shows Alpine wildflowers intertwined with barbed wire. The flowers include Columbines, Bear Matt, Columbia Virgins Bower, Alpine Vetch, Dog Violets, Blue-eyed Grass and Alpine Lungwort. This painting is the second painting in a series featuring flowers intertwined with various forms of fencing.
