Radiant Sunflower (2005)

This original knotwork knotwork mandala painting shows a sunflower in the center. The sunflower represents the balance of nature. The seeds of the sunflower grow along logarithmic, equiangular spirals moving in opposite directions. The border consists of a complex knotwork with blue jays in the corners.
